Visit a duck pond.
This is my 5th year using the Peaceful Press and what continues to draw me in is the beauty and cohesiveness of the curriculum- history through living books, art, hymns, poems, recipes, science, geography, Bible, practical life - somehow these all tie into each other and make the learning feel so rich and so beautiful. I love that there are free reading suggestions for all age groups and levels, and that although my children span multiple ages (6, 8, & 11 now), most of our learning time happens together. I LOVE this way of learning and only wish I could continue to use PP through high school!
Our family enjoys all of the book floods and holiday resources from The Peaceful Press and the All Saints book flood is no different! It is the perfect alternative for Halloween or even just to make family memories and take time to connect. You do not need to be Catholic to enjoy learning about the saints. Learning church history through the saints has been fascinating!
My children are loving the Narnia series beginning with The Magicians Nephew and all the seated work following. I’m so grateful for the thoughtfulness in creating copy work student sheets for multiple ages. My 10 1/2 year old loves the cursive sheets. My 8 year old is practicing with dashed-lined paper and my 6 year old loves copying 3 words and coloring the picture after each Grimm’s Fairy Tale. We’ve been acting out the Grimm Tales with costumes and it has been a delight! So grateful for this God centered and worshipful curriculum!
