We also feature several American poets such as Robert Frost, Walt Whitman, Phillis Wheatley and Emily Dickinson.
Each week includes nature study, geography, notebooking, science experiments, art, history, literature, and more!
Over the course of the year your child will create 7 different state reports as well as spending two weeks studying the Constitution.
FAQ
Q. Should I do Playful Pioneers Volume 1 first?
A. We think so, because the books in Volume 1 are a little simpler. However, if your family wants an engaging year of American history and geography but recently read the Little House or Little Britches series, then this is a great place to start.
Q. Does this resource include recipes?
A. We include a suggested recipe to make each week, but we've now compiled all of our Peaceful Press recipes into one beautiful cookbook. You can grab the digital version here, or a hardcover edition on Amazon coming soon!
