      Wonderful

While it seems written for a Sunday school children’s class we are using it in our homeschool as a memory verse guide. We spend the first day of the week doing the Bible reading, copy work, and picture study, then just review the verse for the rest of the week. This has been working well for our children as they are 2, 5, and 7 years old. I wouldn’t use this as a solo Bible program for our family but it’s a great addition to the other things we do. We are Charlotte Mason homeschoolers so while only one child is in formal lessons my younger two tag along for Bible and our morning time:)

We love this. It’s added so much opportunity for a beautiful slow discussion about Jesus and God and The Holy Spirit in our day. Thank you for the song list. Honestly that wraps such a beautiful bow around our study time. We have all enjoyed the picture study as well! Thank you for helping us connect with God deeper!

      The Good Gospel

I've been inactively looking for something that was peaceful and reflective for my family and I had to check the Peaceful Press out when my friend introduced it to me. I love the marriage between Charlotte Mason and Montessori schools of thought and how Christ is the centre of it all. My daughter and I work on one lesson per week, and I so appreciate that we are encouraged to reflect and spend moments with God as part of the start of the week through this curriculum. My 5 year old LOVES memorising the Scriptures each week, and we talk about what those Scriptures mean. Can't wait to get through it all and purchase other units.

      The Good Gospel

I have been looking at the Good Gospel for a couple of years now and finally decided to give it a try. I wish I'd bought it then because we are really enjoying it. All of my little ones who are doing it (all 7 and under) are getting something out of it and the lesson is short and sweet but full for them. I know we will use it multiple times in our family and I recommend itz especially if you want something simple but still full of goodness!

      Excellent bible study

I love this resource - I printed and binded it, and I find it really easy to use daily with my children for bible study and stick to it. Jennifer has made it so easy to follow the instructions and create a prayerful atmosphere. Thank you!

      The most delightful, connection-forming curriculum

We are thoroughly enjoying this beautiful and well-written Bible curriculum. Right now, we are using it with the Peaceful Press Lent reading plan. My three year old enjoys it, which is very encouraging. We start by singing a few of the welcome songs with our musical instruments then turn on the Good Gospel song on Spotify that goes with the lesson. We look at the painting, read the story and work on the verse, and then do a bit of painting on the activity sheet. It's lovely!

      HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I am just THRILLED that I purchased The Good Gospel now and didn’t wait. We have been using it during the season of Lent. It has far, far exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely recommend this to any mom or Sunday school teacher. Not only do my little ones love it, but I have been thoroughly enjoying and being blessed through it as well. LOVE

Easily adaptable to a bilingual family

We're all cradle Catholics who didn't grow up memorizing verses so I'd like to get better at it myself while instilling it in our kids. This curriculum sets one up for success by dedicating each week to a particular verse and its corresponding Gospel story and artwork (plus related activities).

Because we're bilingual, I also like that I don't have to keep everything in English. Instead, I note the verse + Gospel reading in my (Peaceful Press) Homeschool Planner for the following week and bookmark them on our Kids Spanish-language Bible. Easy peasy!

Lastly, and I don't think this was done on purpose because the Pepitos are Protestant* and we start our school year in January.. I found the Gospel stories to match the ones read at Mass--at least for the early weeks. As someone who enjoys listening to Catholic podcasts (like Sunday School, which explains said Gospel readings, and Fr. Mike Schmit's Sunday Homilies!), I was pleasantly surprised and overjoyed to have come across this coincidence.

One suggestion:: Please consider making the files easier to print by offering both ONE big file and THREE zipped folders incl. The Parent Guide, the Printables, and the Artwork. This way, one can, for instance, print and bind *only* the PG, print the Printables as needed (or skip if not needed), and either print each Art piece as needed *or* send them all to have them affordably printed on cardboard elsewhere so they can become sturdier pieces the family can save for later picture studies or playroom/homeschool art that can be hung up and preserved for a long time. There ARE free apps that let us successfully separate PDFs (we used Stirling for making our own "three" files), but it' be neat and easier if this was by default.

This is an excellent choice in homeschooling!

My girls and I have enjoyed the first few weeks of homeschool using this curriculum. It’s age appropriate for my 2 and 3 year olds! We love the activities, the recipe book, and the field trips! It’s great for their attention span, we don’t sit too long at any activity! Always moving and doing neat things!

      It’s so easy

I was feeling a little intimidated by the thought of homeschooling when I decided to go this route and was getting worried when it was getting closer to start I didn’t know where to begin and I wasn’t sure if I was covering everything my child needed until I stumbled upon The Peaceful Press! It’s so organized and Every lesson is laid out for you, It is literally tear free. I definitely recommend this program to all families looking to homeschool.

      Lovely Lent resource

We’ve been using The Good Gospel as part of our morning time for a few weeks and I’ve also used it a couple times during our weekly family worship evening. My 6 year old is enjoying the coloring pages and tracing the verses. We haven’t tried any crafts yet but I would if I used it in a Sunday school setting. The simple structure, short story, prompts for reflection, and beautiful paintings make it enjoyable for me too. Loved sharing the idea of candles and prayer silks for reflection time with my family.

      This curriculum works great!

We are able to easily for the first time ever, homeschool! With a 5 year old, 3.5 year old and 1.5 year old while also 7months pregnant - Homeschooling is hard! This curriculum has refocused my family on Jesus during our lessons, and has made our days much easier. I love that the lesson are grab and go for me, and I can expand on what we do or do just the basic. My children are loving their "schooling" as my oldest calls it and begs to do it. She says, " It feels like Jesus is right here doing it with us!" That was my main goal all along and I'm so thankful I took the plunge and purchased this curriculum. Thanks Peaceful Press 🙌🏻

      Just What We Needed!

My kids are 4, 2.5 & 1 and I wanted to incorporate some structure into our day and this resource was perfect for us. I decided to get it printed and then print out the coloring pages for my older two children to color on while I showed them the painting and read them the story. The curriculum offers more ideas, but that was about all I could handle this season. It was so beautiful to spend time praying together and learning together and my kids enjoyed this time together and listening to the songs (I am so glad they are on spotify now!!). We sing them throughout the day. This has been a huge blessing to me and really got us into a good routine during a hard season for me. As a new mom, I have been struggling to find quiet time to pray with the Lord and this encouraged me to do that with my children. Praise the Lord for this resource and the many blessings it has brought me. We will definitely be using this resource again and again!

      Beautiful

The lessons are beautiful and well thought out! The lesson plans are tangible and approachable without being clunky or confusing. My only wish is that the handwriting had a cursive option. I start my children with cursive because it is natural and often more easily learned than print.
Thank you for such beautiful and affordable curriculum!

      Complicated Printing

I have gone through everything, but found the printing all being in one book stressful. I had to go through each page and decide what pages to print for a teachers guide and which for the students. I would suggest separating those into two books, a teachers guide and a student book and then have a separate download for the art prints, so they can be printed separately in better quality if desired, but also keep it in the teachers guide. I have yet to print those separately, as i am dreading having to find a way to get them printed as photos. Otherwise, everything seems great.

      The Good Gospel review

The materials and activities are great! This is my first experience with Peaceful Press and homeschool curriculum in general and it is a wonderful intro. I do wish there was a hard copy option or that I knew what printing costs would be prior to purchase.
