I’m an occupational therapist that stays home with my kids right now and I was so happy to find that the activities were completely developmentally appropriate. Kids this age learn by play and that’s what this curriculum is based around. It’s not meant to be a full day schedule event. It’s more how to incorporate activities in your day-to-day life.

The Perfect Preschool Curriculum
I’ve been using this curriculum with my 3 & 4 year old for the last several weeks and they LOVE it. It takes us about 45 minutes a day and my kids are always asking for more activities afterwards. I love the scope and sequence and would highly recommend this to other moms looking to teach preschool at home.

Perfect pre-k curriculum
This curriculum is so sweet. A friend let me look through her curriculum and I quickly knew it was the one I wanted for my child. Each day is clearly laid out, lots of crafts and hands on learning. My son has enjoyed all of the fun things we do each day.

Love it!
I love how all the activities are intertwined with the main lesson of the week. There’s also plenty of room to do more or less with the lesson plan based on my child’s ability and preferences.

Excited Homeschool Mama!
This will be my first year to “officially” homeschool and we’ve purchased both the A-Z preschool curriculum and the Playful Pioneers. I’m beyond excited, especially after seeing the content and worksheets. I love the approach to be more connected with my kids in our school day, along with being encouraged in biblical work/study.

Love Peaceful Preschool's Flexibility
So far we are really enjoying the Peaceful Preschool curriculum. I like the flexibility, easily integrated activities and fun books! My son does as well ;) We are starting the curriculum in the spring and doing the letters at first in the order of his name. So some of the Christmassy or fall activities I've had to scramble around for more seasonally appropriate ones. But it's totally doable! The one piece of negative feedback I have is this: We purchased the digital bundle and printed everything out on normal paper. Now I've realized I need to print the preschool printouts on a thicker cardstock paper. It would have been nice to have some instruction or recommendation related to that written in the email from our purchase.
Definitley excited for more Peaceful Press in our home!

The peaceful preschool
This is my second purchase from the peaceful press, I am getting ready to homeschool my 3.5 year so I got the peaceful preschool. I’ve printed and bound everything, and it looks to be a high quality resource. I’m currently in the process of ordering the books for it and have gotten about half of them- some I intend to get at the library and some are available as read alouds on YouTube, but I prefer to own most of them. My only issue is that some are not readily available due to being older, so it would be nice to have a few options listed in that case.

Our Favorite Preschool Program
I had originally started this with my daughter when she was 2.5 but a lot of the phonics stuff was a bit over her head so we ended up pausing it middle of last year.
This year I started my 3.5 year old on a different preschool program and though there were things we really enjoyed about it, it got repetitive and stale after a few weeks. I was lacking in motivation to continue and whenever I asked my daughter if she wanted to do Preschool together she'd say Yes! ask what we were doing and then say "Actually no" and ask if we could paint or do something else instead. I knew it wasn't working.
We came back to this program and I've already noticed a HUGE change in her attitude and how excited she is again. She will initiate asking for Preschool before I ask her most days. This is definitely the program for us! While we were making glitter glue "K" cards the other day, my daughter looked over at me and said "This is the best, and you're the best mommy!" My heart was filled to the brim.
The activities are not only educational but engaging and provide connection time. This is soo important to me, as I have 2 (soon to be 3) other kids. It's manageable while homeschooling my 2nd & 3rd grader as well which not all Preschool programs seem to be.

Lots of inspiration for playful learning
I love the activity suggestions and the accompanying readalouds. We don't necessarily follow it as is, but use it more for inspiration. Only change I would suggest is for the weekly themes to match up with the seasons, assuming the school year starts in September. E.g. A - apples, B - bees, C - Corn, D - dry leaves etc

First Year Homeschooling!
This curriculum is wonderful and has given some wonderful structure to our days for a mom who had no idea what she was doing haha. The style of learning is perfect for my daughter who loves to read, play outside, do crafts, and help in the kitchen. I can’t recommend this enough! I was feeling overwhelmed how to structure our days and this plans them enough to guide our days without making them so structured.

Great ideas
Booklet contains great lessons not just for my toddler but also for me. I.e. making non-toxic play dough with ingredients I already have in my home.

Good, wholesome, thorough
I can't say enough good things about this curriculum (but I do have a couple of suggestions toward the end). I've found the variety of skills sufficient--enough to either satisfy a day's worth of activities or to pick and choose from if there isn't enough time or interest to finish them all. (E.g., If you don't want to build a bird feeder on the same day you'd also be doing the other six suggested activities, it's OK!)
The content is also wholesome--perfect for a small child in a family seeking the Good, True, and Beautiful. Most of it is secular/neutral, with a couple Bible additions throughout, which is nice.
We're a bilingual family, so the book selections don't always appeal to us. Because I prep our week(s) in advance, I simply choose another one related to that following week's theme/letter. We tailor the curriculum to *our* needs, which is another Pro to this Peaceful Preschool: it's highly customizable. A few of the books have also been kind of a drag to read so I've gotten better at previewing future ones online just in case.
Our oldest has greatly enjoyed the activities and I appreciate how much thoughtfulness and consideration for children's development and play went into listing a day's activities. (E.g., Who thought tossing/kicking the ball outside and playing Follow The Leader could be part of a curriculum? We didn't, and now we're doing that more often thanks to this one.) Other programs are pretty basic, but Peaceful Preschool has more than expected.
My couple of suggestions:
- Make the Bundle easier to print: When I downloaded my copy, I saw that the Mama/Parent Guide and Printables were all part of the same file but I wanted them separate so I could keep the PG bound like a notebook and the Printables in my computer to print as needed. I easily separated them using Stirling PDF. By offering both one big file and two separate folders, families could more easily manage and transport these files rather than requiring them to separate them themselves.
- Incorporate cutting lines/shapes earlier in the program. Maybe I'm biased because it's our oldest's favorite activity, but the Printables could also include sheets with straight lines, zigzag lines, and shapes for littles to cut around and practice using scissors with. I draw our own so he does this at least weekly, but Peaceful Preschool could make them be part of the Fine Motor Skills weekly or monthly so kids don't lose practice.
Thanks so much for this curriculum and I look forward to future Peaceful Press programs.

We couldn't be happier!
I have been using the Peaceful Press resources for a year now, but we just purchased and began working through the Peaceful Preschool with our three year old, and we couldn't be happier. Last year, even though our guy was little, I was really struggling with all of the times I felt I had to say "no" to him throughout the day when he asked me to play, read, etc. Now, I initiate and we have a sweet time of connection a few mornings a week while his sister naps. He has been walking around with his little backpack saying "Teacher Mommy, are you ready to do school with me?" My heart is so thankful for this gentle but comprehensive resource easing us into education.

Exactly what I hoped
I was nervous to start homeschooling. This curriculum was suggested to me by a friend and I have loved it. We are currently doing three days a week and adjust the schedule for that. I am constantly moving activities around to different days or adding my own things and it is SO helpful to have such a wonderful base of suggestions to work from. Thank you.

Excellent for New to Homeschool!
I was really struggling with what curriculum to choose for my preschooler and purchased a number of other things. Nothing seemed to give me what I (or my preschooler) needed. Then I found this! It’s perfect for us! The perfect blend - mixing education with life skills - and easy to follow parent guide. This curriculum gave me the confidence I needed to start our journey and we’re loving it!

Started this with my 2.5 year old, thinking we might just do a couple things she’s ready for then repeat next year. She wanted to do the whole week worth of activities in one day!
