The Playful Pioneers Volume 2

It helps me to easily design a teaching plan and my kids really like books on the reading list.

I recommend Peaceful Press to anyone who asks (and many who don't). I love that the cursive handwriting has a space for the student to write with the example above. I wish the print handwriting had the same option. We have loved the other two rotations that we have used and I am very much looking forward to using this one this fall.

The cookbook is a fun hands-on addition to the Peaceful Press curriculum! Having all of the recipes together in one book is convenient. The recipes are easy to follow and the pictures are helpful.

We love the stories that are part of this pack and learning all of the states in the order they’ve been arranged. It’s a wonderful history guide!

This is our 5 year using the Peaceful press curriculum. We have used it for preschool and up. Our whole family absolutely loves it. We love that’s charlotte mason based, full of fun literature, amazing art, fun baking, and beautiful scripture.

I wish I would have come across this curriculum sooner! It’s exactly what I have been looking for since I’ve begun homeschooling. Slow and gentle for the wild mama in me yet structured enough to know what to expect every day.

I am so excited to use this curriculum with my boys next year! I love all the living books utilized throughout the year, and I’m looking forward to learning how to notebook and narrate with them. Everything is so well put together and organized. I love that all printables are included even the poems, hymns, art, etc. It will make planning so much easier!

We enjoyed PP Vol. 1 so much that I had to purchase PP Vol. 2. The layout of the teacher guide is easy to follow, and I appreciate the monthly lists for needed resources. It has been handy to be able to look ahead each month and get supplies or books ordered (or to reserve books from the library).

My children have enjoyed the hands-on projects and read-alouds. The copy work pages are nicely done. One of my favorite components is the artwork files. It has been a game changer for me to provide art study because the selections are already chosen and ready to print at the click of a button.

Everything about this curriculum has truly lived up to its name, The Peaceful Press, because it has brought peace to our homeschooling days and this Mama's heart.

We are finishing up PPV2 right now, and we have absolutely loved the journey it has taken us on through history AND through U.S. geography. It is a beautiful combination of fun, meaningful, and academically beneficial! Thank you for such a beautiful collection of books, paintings, and activities that work so well for us to enjoy together as a whole family.

We have loved both of the Pioneer units and have even gone back through them. This resource is great for multiple age and skill levels and easy to incorporate into your other curriculums!

We started with volume 1 and we are finishing volume 2 with my 1st and 5th grader. I love the simplicity and how easy it is to do. I like to go month by month so I really love the monthly supply lists. My girls have enjoyed all the readings and I like to see how much each one has retained through the fun projects and by reading stories

We have used quite a few of the resources from The Peaceful Press over the last 5 years and I’m never disappointed. Jennifer Pepito does a fantastic job of creating a curriculum that brings so much beauty, peace, and connection to our home and my kids love it! We are a few weeks into the Playful Pioneers Volume 2 and everything is so cohesive and we are loving the book selections and the recipes and hands on projects are my kids’ favorite. Thank you for another great curriculum focusing on early American history!

I used Playful Pioneers Volume 1 several years ago with my children. They LOVED it and still talk about it. This year we were able to visit some of the Little House sites and they remembered all that they learned during that year. We have been traveling the US quite a bit visiting National Parks and we are beyond excited to start this new curriculum in the fall. Thank you for making another excellent resource for studying US history. We love how it covers an array of subjects and we have frequently used the cookbook to make our favorite recipes!

Our family will begin using the Playful Pioneers Volume 2 curriculum in August as our core. I am well pleased with how easily I was able to print all of the PDF files. I love how organized and well thought out the materials are! I will be using this bundle for my 8 year old son and 7 year old daughter. With the feedback my children gave from our previous year, they really requested 2 things- more practical hands-on activities/life skills and more exciting living books and this bundle includes both! I wasn’t planning on doing our US history cycle for another year, but when I saw this volume 2, I knew we had to do it in the fall. It’s so beautiful!

I have purchased The Playful Pioneers 1 & 2 and also The Kind Kingdom. I’m beyond pleased with all that is offered within these history studies. The book list is wonderful covering great works and the copy work chooses are perfect. From quotes by Patrick Henry to some of George Washington’s Rules of Civility. We especially appreciate the Bible Verses that bring our studies closer to our Lord. Charlotte Mason would be very satisfied with every aspect included. Thank you for working so hard to bring together such a wonderful bundle of joy, fun and education!
