Create a leaf necklace by threading leaves together. You will need a variety of leaves, twine, and two small sticks. Cut off a piece of twine, long enough to create a necklace. Tie each end of the twine to a small stick. Begin using one of the sticks as a “needle” to poke through the middle of the leaf. Thread one leaf on one at a time, using care so you don’t break the leaves. Allow your child to add as many leaves to their necklace as they would like.
We're so excited to jump into the Precious People next year. This is our third year using The Peaceful Press and we've loved each one and keep coming back for more!
This curriculum is lovely! Our family loves how it includes classic art and literature in leu of cartoons and animation. A beautiful, thoughtful lesson for each day that my daughter enjoys and looks forward to! This is our second year using the Peaceful press.
I have loved this curriculum! I really enjoy that I can take it at our own pace and make it an easy part of our day. It’s so well balanced with structure and fun. Half the time my daughter doesn’t know we are doing school. At three years old I’m thankful for the smooth introduction to school and structure. This is my first time homeschooling and the curriculum has made it so simple for me to follow along, modify when needed, and get my feet wet. We are both having a blast learning together and connecting!
We are finishing up our last week of the Playful Pioneers, volume 1. My 5th and 1st grader really enjoyed the hands on projects and recipes. This helped them to connect with the characters and story in a meaningful way. Also, high praise for the well curated selection of picture books and the list of additional American and World History books for older students. I saw improvement with narration and my children produced beautiful and detailed art. It made for a well paced, peaceful, and connected year! I look forward to The Kind Kingdom next!
