Nurturing a Loving Homeschool

One of my favorite things about a Charlotte Mason literature based homeschool is the way it nurtures a loving family.

When your children are all sitting alone working on their worksheets, it can be isolating, and in the recent homeschool survey I did, isolation was one of the biggest complaints.

However, when you homeschool with the Peaceful Press you bond over beautiful stories and engaging projects.

My children are great friends, who are connected to each other even into adulthood, and your family can also nurture close friendships through the Peaceful Press.

When we are in a joyful state it nurtures attachment, which develops mature problem solving and stable behavior. Families that can still love each other into the adult years, make up healthy societies.

So the fun projects we do, like making an aqueduct when we study the Romans, or making a handwoven bookmark when studying colonial times aren't just helping your children develop eye hand coordination and motor skills.

They are building bonds of love and joy that will bless your family far into the future.
Want a fun unit to break up blah winter days? Our Mid-Atlantic Guide, the second month in Playful Pioneers Volume 2 is a wonderful resource for February with a focus on early American presidents.

Over the course of four weeks you will read engaging biographies about people such as Molly Pitcher, Samuel Adams, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson, copy original poetry and documents from the founding of America, look at art from John James Audubon, and make fun recipes such as raised donuts, spiced cider and more.

It's just $12 for this four week unit and it includes art, poetry, recipes, copywork, science, history, nature study, and more!

You can use it as an American Presidents themed morning time or use it in place of all other resources for the month (just add math).
