My kids are loving this curriculum! I have a kindergartener, preschooler, and a toddler, and it’s easy to include my younger ones in this study. Definitely recommend!!

Beautiful, thoughtful, well organized curriculum. My 5 year old (and two-year-old tag along babe) absolutely love it. I really enjoy doing a lot of the activities with them, brings me joy! We are just starting off so I can’t comment yet on the quality of books but I’m sure they’re going to be great. Better than expected. Also I would love to say we paid for the printing recommended in the welcome email and that was worth every penny. It came so nearly organized on really high quality paper.

Preparing for our first week and can’t wait! The curriculum is so beautifully balanced, providing lots of opportunity for hands-on learning, practical life skills, and fun exploration in nature while still ensuring that phonics and math concepts are being reinforced in a variety of ways. Honestly this curriculum brings out all the things I love about Sonlight Curriculum without being overkill and burdensome as Sonlight can tend to be with its long list of recommended daily tasks. The preparation and daily amount of tasks with Nourishing Nature appears very manageable. Also love that there is a handwriting component! I can already foresee the joy this is going to bring our family!

I really enjoy this nature study. I have been able to have so many valuable conversation with my kids. It leads to learning so much about science skills without forcing "Unit" studies. Thanks!

In starting kindergarten with my oldest. The daily layout has been helpful with ideas and resources to learn and connect. Learning to work together and that reading together and doing these activities have made such a connection as a family and taking time to learn in such simple ways! SO THANKFUL THAT WE USE WHAT WE HAVE AROUND THE HOUSE!!!

We are in our first year of homeschooling with a mostly Charlotte Mason (and some classical) influence. This Kindergarten curriculum has been wonderful and so comprehensive for planning lessons, particularly for Social Studies, Science, and English Language Arts subjects. My 5.5 year old daughter loves the books (we utilize the book lists in the guide and all of them are available through our local libraries!) and the activities are easy to plan for and have a big and fun impact. I highly recommend this curriculum as a stand alone or supplement to your homeschool Kindergarten plans--the value is fantastic for all that you get out of it!

I have used both Peaceful Preschool and Nourishing Nature, and love them both. I love the way my almost-two year old can join in with us (as long as she's willing to sit!) and my very active five-year-old knows what to expect during our morning time each day. The books are beautiful and captivating, and then I love the emphasis on hands-on and outdoor motor skills.

I really love how it's really hands on learning and we really enjoy doing the activities together as a family.

As a former teacher who loved curating my own cirriculum for my eldest daughter, I was looking for something very specific for my (will be) 5 year old son for this coming year. I recognized that he was not developmentally ready for most kindergarten cirriculum out there, and that he needed one more year of no pressure, "quiet growing" time. At the same time, I wanted a very intentional year for him... I am about to have another baby and I didn't want him to feel like the overlooked middle child if I spent all my time teaching my oldest and caring for the youngest. I also know that he enjoyed tagging along in the activities in Playful Pioneers that we just finished up - all the handicrafts, books, cooking - and I wanted to give him those things. And although he isn't ready for formal learning, I wanted him to have gentle, intentional practice in math and phonics in the hopes that he would pick up a thing or two and maybe finish learning his letters this year. Oh, and I needed it all super laid out for me, since I'm about to have a baby.
I looked and looked and looked for months and I really thought I'd have to write my own cirriculum again. Turns out it was under my nose the whole time once again with the Peaceful Press. We are trying out the Garden unit, and it's already such a perfect fit and he and I are SO happy with it. Looking forward to an intentional, connected, peaceful school year!

This curriculum has everything needed to teach beautifully. I love all of the book suggestions for each lesson.

This is the best resource and is holistic with minimal to low prep and my children have thrived using this curriculum! Has created great connection and growth for our family - highly recommend!

I feel very overwhelmed by the amount of prep I have to do every day... SO many varied craft materials to gather... Books are generally good. The principles are solid. But oh my goodness, with two other children underfoot this does not feel peaceful.

I really love the nature focus. It is such a lovely gentle way of learning. My daughter loves all the activities.

As a new homeschool mom (with no background on homeschool ) I appreciate this curriculum. Is easy and enjoyable for my 4 yo daughter.

I do believe there are some parts that need more instructions. For example in one of the art days it said salt paint. I honestly haven’t done that before and I couldn’t find in the curriculum how to do it, so I had to ask google. There are a few other stuff that I needed to make some extra research to understand what we are supposed to do.

But overall is a good curriculum specially if you need something that takes you out of a ‘normal’ classroom and have fun learning.

Our first year homeschooling, we are all super excited! We recently did a few weeks of the summer curriculum! I love how it involves all our family so we can grow in our learning and relationships with each other.

I’m excited about starting this curriculum with my nearly four year old and five year old. It leaves so much space to be open ended but also a framework for when I don’t have the brain space for creativity. I’d give this guide five stars if it had page numbers. It would have been incredibly helpful when I was binding it at home.

The lessons are beautiful and well thought out! I really like the book lists and the different units ranging from city to rainforest. The crafts and the recipes are easy and fun. The lesson plans are tangible and approachable without being clunky or confusing. My only wish is that the handwriting had a cursive option. I start my children with cursive because it is natural and often more easily learned than print.

It looks like it will be a good curriculum. I would have liked to know the cost of printing before I purchased it however, was not expecting that much for printing.

We love the Nourishing Nature Kindergarten! The books used are excellent and fun and we love that this programme contains so many practical skills for the kids to learn as well. This is exactly what we were looking for! The only thing that could have made this better is if it would have included printable pages for handwriting in cursive as well.

I discovered Nourishing Nature Kindergarten after a friend recommended looking at Peaceful Press curriculums when I was completely discouraged with the Kindergarten curriculum that I was doing with my daughter. Peaceful Press’ Nourishing Kindergarten has been remarkably refreshing to our family! It is filled with fun hands-on activities and the curriculum itself is beautiful to look at (which makes it easy for me to prepare). It includes far more than I even anticipated- complete with an excellent handwriting book! If you’re looking for a curriculum that both you and your children will enjoy, this is it! Watch them come alive as they create, explore, and listen to lovely living books!
