This guide has been so sweet to follow this advent season, adding in a faith connection as we remember the wait for our Savior. I love the calm, slow pace and meaningful conversations it has inspired.
Books have been great, we’ve enjoyed the crafts. Links are helpful but a few are no longer found. No big deal. Love the art and hand rhymes too!
I loved the concept of having some sort of activities/lessons for each day of advent to go along with the regular homeschool programming. Although my son is in daycare, it's nice to have some afterschool activities for him to do when he comes home. The Holiday book flood came in handy. He is a little young for some of the reading material/activities but you can tweak to what works best for your kid. For me, I chose some age appropriate books for him to replace the ones suggested in the book flood. Some of the books are a bit long for his attention span. Nevertheless, excited to use it for future years as he gets older.
