The Peaceful Press Christmas Gift Guide
Christmas shopping can be so overwhelming. I’ve got seven children, and now lovely daughter-in-laws and grandchildren, and it’s a joy to delight my family, but I also don’t want to spend all my time perusing the internet. I’d rather be there with them, playing games, making crafts, and baking together. I’m guessing you feel the same way, so I’ve gathered a few gift ideas that I hope can help make this season easier for you.

For Mom
A Heartwarming Book- A few novels I love are The Deans Watch, The Enchanted April Mothering by the Book and Habits for a Sacred Home makes a wonderful Christmas gift as well.
Hu Chocolate- My favorite chocolate at discount prices through Thrive Market. Get $30 in store credit through my link.
Mrs. Meyers Cleaning Products- If you have to clean for the holidays, it might as well smell nice. Get a free cleaning set from Grove.
Mothering by the Book Tote- The Peaceful Press Mothering by the Book Tote is made of 100% organic cotton and is generously sized for library runs. Available with pink floral or black and white logo.
The Restoration Home Hat- This adorable dad hat is perfect for long days outdoors with the kiddos.

Essential Oil Starter Kit- I love diffusing clove and orange oil over the holidays and slathering on Thieves at the first sign of illness. A starter kit would make a perfect Christmas gift for health-conscious mamas.
Homemaker Candle- I love this Instagram community and was excited about their candle collection.

FOR DAD
An Audible Membership- Audible Membership or books are a great gift for a busy husband. My husband’s favorite audible books this year were The Boys in the Boat, Horse of a Different Color, and The Men We Need.
Air Fryer- My husband has been using this to make fast and delicious breakfasts and dinners.
Massage Gun- This is on our wish list. I tried out a friends, and I want to have one on hand for sore necks and back rubs. Especially with how tired we can be at the end of the day, it's great to have a low effort way of giving massages.
FOR THE PRESCHOOLER
Baskets- Preschoolers love carrying things, and a basket is a perfect reservoir for dolls, stuffed animals, and other favorite toys.
Rocker or Wobble Board- These toys are perfect for developing core strength.
Cleaning Supplies for Little Ones- I love providing young children with the means of helping and cleaning around the house which is why this set is so great.
Peg Game- This Montessori peg and screwdriver set is perfect for fine motor skills and developing little builders.

Butter Churn- Pioneer kids would love making their own butter with this beautiful little churn.
Playmobile Rabbit Hutch- While I don't love most plastic toys, Playmobiles were a much loved category of toy for my kids growing up. This rabbit hutch in particular provided hours of fun.
Knight Costume- While studying the Kind Kingdom you could gift a knight costume to help your children act out the stories they are listening to.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a simple way to keep Christmas shopping from getting overwhelming?
Yes! My biggest tip is to create a short list of categories—Mom, Dad, Preschooler, Students, Teens—and choose one thoughtful item for each. This helps you stay focused and avoid endless browsing so you can spend more time enjoying the season.
Where can I find the items you mentioned?
Most of the items are linked through my Amazon storefront, and some (like Hu chocolate or cleaning products) are available through trusted retailers such as Thrive Market or Grove. I’ve included all links in the post to make shopping quick and easy.
Do you really use all these products in your own home?
Absolutely. These lists are curated from things our family has loved, items I personally recommend, or resources we’ve used for homeschooling and homemaking over the years.
Are there budget-friendly options?
Yes! Many of the gifts—like baskets for preschoolers, watercolor supplies, books, and Playmobil sets—can be found at various price points. My Amazon list includes both affordable and higher-quality options so you can choose what works for your budget.
Do you have ideas for families who prefer non-toy or clutter-free gifts?
Definitely! Experiences such as Audible memberships, essential oil kits, nature journaling sets, or a survival kit for older kids make wonderful clutter-free gifts that encourage learning and connection.
Are your gift ideas aligned with your Peaceful Press curriculum?
Many of them are. Items like the pioneer girl costume, knight costume, butter churn, or nature journaling supplies pair beautifully with our programs such as The Playful Pioneers, The Kind Kingdom, and The Precious People.
Where can I find your book recommendations?
You can find all of our curated book lists in our Amazon storefront or download them as printable PDFs from The Peaceful Press website.
Do you earn commissions from the links in this post?
Yes, some links are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thank you for supporting our family and the work of The Peaceful Press!
Do you have a printable version of the gift ideas?
Not yet, but I can create one if enough readers request it! Let me know if a printable list would be helpful for your holiday planning.
How can I make Christmas more peaceful while still giving meaningful gifts?
Keep it simple, be intentional, and focus on presence over perfection. Choose gifts that encourage connection, creativity, and shared experiences—then tuck away the shopping lists and enjoy the beauty of the season with your family.
