Create a giant letter T using materials from natureābark, leaves, twigs, or pinecones. This helps reinforce letter recognition while connecting literacy to the outdoors.
ā Fine Motor Practice
Go on a nature walk and collect acorns. Sort acorns by size when you return.
š° Tip: To remove bugs or bacteria, bake your acorns at 200°F for 1 hour before using them in crafts or play.
š Gross Motor Skills
Make a fall nature bracelet by wrapping masking tape around your childās wrist (sticky side out). Go outside and collect tiny natural treasuresāleaves, twigs, seeds, and petalsāthat stick to the bracelet as a living nature collection.

š„ Dutch Apple Baby Recipe (Perfect for Fall Mornings)
Ingredients:

4ā5 apples, peeled and thinly sliced

6 tbsp butter

¼ cup cinnamon sugar

4 eggs
-
1 cup milk
-
1 cup flour
-
Dash of salt
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425°F.

In a cast iron skillet, cook apples with butter and cinnamon sugar over medium heat until translucent.

While apples cook, beat eggs, milk, flour, and salt.

Pour batter over the apples and bake for 15ā20 minutes or until golden brown.
