šŸ”¤ Phonics Activity

Create a giant letter T using materials from nature—bark, leaves, twigs, or pinecones. This helps reinforce letter recognition while connecting literacy to the outdoors.

āœ‹ Fine Motor Practice

Go on a nature walk and collect acorns. Sort acorns by size when you return.
🌰 Tip: To remove bugs or bacteria, bake your acorns at 200°F for 1 hour before using them in crafts or play.

šŸƒ Gross Motor Skills

Make a fall nature bracelet by wrapping masking tape around your child’s wrist (sticky side out). Go outside and collect tiny natural treasures—leaves, twigs, seeds, and petals—that stick to the bracelet as a living nature collection.

šŸ½ļø Practical Life: Cook Together

Make a warm, cozy treat together with our Dutch Apple Baby recipe below. This activity brings in math, sequencing, and fine motor skills while nurturing connection.

šŸŽØ Art Exploration

Create adorable leaf animals! Use different shapes and sizes of leaves to form heads, bodies, legs, and tails of woodland creatures. Let your child’s imagination run wild!
